Oops, it’s been ages since my last post here, hasn’t it?

I’ve been using my LiveJournal instead since I can have it set to friends only.
Don’t know if I’ll ever be using this blog again, but… I’m too lazy to re-do the site without a blog right now.

Just thought I’d post an entry to show that I didn’t simply drop off the face of the Earth. I’ve been updating other parts of the site, though. Like my joined fanlistings.

I keep forgetting to update my blog… I’m still online every day but for some reason I never have anything to write about so I end up not blogging at all.

Recently I’ve started playing online TCGs again.
I’m also in the process of moving all my sites from ResellerZoom to DreamHost. I’ve moved both waddiwasi.net and my-indecision.org but I still have nimphelos.net left. Going to take forever, it seems.

Haven’t done much lately. I hardly ever go out anymore. Only if I really have to, to buy food or something like that. I’m always by the computer when I’m awake.
And I don’t even have anyone to talk to online anymore. It gets a bit lonely, but at least I have my cats.

This morning I did something I’d been wanting to do for quite some time now. I upgraded my enthusiast installation from version 3.0 to 3.1. I really wish I hadn’t done that.

Ever since I upgraded, I’ve been having nothing but errors.

First I couldn’t get the fanlistings to work after I replaced the old config files with the new ones. This I managed to work out after some thinking.
Then I realized that enth wasn’t sending any e-mails at all. And it wasn’t showing a confirmation message when I joined one of my own listings. This really annoyed me but I thought I could live with that…
But now I discovered that it’s not letting me upload any images at all. Affiliates, collective images, etc. Not working at all. This worked just fine before my upgrade so I don’t think it’s the server my sites are hosted on that’s the problem. It definitely seems to be a problem with the script.

It’s just so frustrating when things like this happen. I don’t know how the script works so I can’t really work out what is wrong with it.

Now I’m really glad I got backups of all my old enth files and the old database. No more enth 3.1 for me. At least the old version *worked*!

I just realized that it’s been almost three months since the last time I posted anything here…

I’m not dead, I just haven’t had anything to write about and so I haven’t bothered.

Lately I’ve gotten addicted to Neopets again… I can’t believe it… hehe.
I haven’t really been active at that site for several years and then I just suddenly get sucked back in. Have no idea how that happened.

I’m still staying at my mom’s place. I’m having some money issues these days and I don’t want to move back home until it’s all sorted out.

These last few days I’ve been going through my joined fanlistings and deleting the ones that aren’t around anymore or ones where I’m not listed. I still havent gotten around to updating URLs of moved fanlistings, but I’ll do that after I’m done deleting the dead FLs.
With over 700 fanlistings to go through, I have a feeling this is going to take forever.

Oh well, at least I’ve been keeping my own fanlistings updated…

OMG. I just discovered that Siouxsie’s wound was bleeding (from when she got spayed last week)… And I panicked. Got my mom to call the vet, even though it’s midnight now and the vet clinic is closed. I feel a bit sorry for the vet, getting disturbed late at night cause of that. Anyway, we’ve put her collar back on and hope it stays that way this time. Last time we tried (and the time before that.. ) she managed to get it off as soon as we turned our backs on her. That’s why she hasn’t been wearing it this past week. She’s been licking the wound like mad, too. :/
I also called the vet clinic once earlier this week cause of Siouxsie. She’d licked her wound and gotten a massive, tennis ball-sized swelling all around it. Scary. The vet then told us it wasn’t anything dangerous and that it would just go away on its own.

That cat really frustrates me sometimes. And scares me sometimes, too.

Oh well, I’m gonna go keep an eye on her, make sure she doesn’t get her collar back off again.
